Is the Okanagan/Shuswap getting so warm that we start seeing iguanas around our houses now? We certainly were surprised to see this one getting a sun tan in the driveway of Mona’s sister’s house in Enderby:
It turns out that this beauty has been enjoying a week of bliss and freedom in the wild after escaping from Barb’s house. Lisa was brave enough to capture it and return it to the house.
Besides exciting wildlife, we (Mona, Lisa, Bev and myself) enjoyed a great hike up the Enderby Cliffs today. Certainly not a flat hike (even with rope sections!) but the view from the top is worth all the sweating!
After the hike, we were treated to fresh cinnamon buns and tea/coffee by Barb. It doesn’t get any better than that!
